a bit about me
Jesse Renee Kennedy is an Indigenous graphic designer specializing in brand identity, packaging design, and digital presence. She uses design to create work where people feel seen, understood, and truly represented. Her work focuses on identity-driven design that reflects who clients are at their core, creating visual systems that are deeply rooted in their culture, story, and lived experience.
She builds brands as cohesive systems, expanding identity across platforms to create consistent, meaningful experiences. Jesse believes design is a powerful language for communicating belonging. She approaches each project with intention, emotional connection, and cultural integrity. Her work often supports Indigenous entrepreneurs and underrepresented voices, helping them build competitive brands that remain true to their identity.
She is currently completing her M.S. in Multimedia, Photography, and Design at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Throughout her graduate studies, she continues to explore how design can support representation, visibility, and empowerment. Her portfolio demonstrates this—uplifting community, honoring identity, and shaping it into impactful visual communication.
